As part of ATAF’s Executive Management Team you will be required to manage the implementation of ATAF’s Multilateral engagement agenda and program on the continent and beyond both in support of member countries as well as to positively influence thinking and policy formulation aligned to the African Agenda. Given the critical nature of this work currently ATAF is looking for a person who will be able to; 

• Guide and direct ATAF’s Africa Multi-Lateral agenda in order to strengthen relations and cooperation with such organizations as the African Union, the African Development Bank and the Regional Economic Communities, among others; 

• Manage the successful institution and value proposition of the AUC Desk; 

•  Further enhance ATAF’s credibility and reputation in the sector through active participation in relevant international fora, engaging in industry debate and discussion and regular publication of articles in the relevant media; 

• Have the foresight and take initiative to constantly monitor and review what is happening with in the environment with regard to International Tax Policy and Administration and timeously develop a response for both ATAF and its members; 

The ideal candidate that will attract our attention is one with 7+ years’ work experience in Tax Policy and/or Tax Administration Management some of which has to be at Senior Management with Board and stakeholder engagement experience. You should also ideally have a post graduate qualification in a tax related field and be fluent in English and/or French.
